NEW AEON MOVEMENT

Mission Statement:

The New Aeon Movement is an organization that has been created to better inform the public and the occult community about the new period of human consciousness we have entered, and what exactly this entails. Over the last century or so, the world has changed considerably in more ways than can be defined. We perceive the progress of humankind thus far in three periods, or, aeons. In a mythological context to more easily convey these ideas of progress, the deities of ancient Egypt have been employed to describe them:

HORUS, the son of Isis and Osiris, is the Child of this New Aeon. He represents the vital force of both the feminie (Isis) and masculine (Osiris) principles.

This aeon of individual liberty is the conscious end of the rule of patriarchal thought, which is associated with the crucifiction of the individual will by the mass of media-occupied minds, who’s capacity to think for themselves has been arrested by the usual propaganda. Orthodox religions (Christianity and Islam are perfect examples) have practically destroyed this world, by declaring war on whatever does not suit their needs or may prove heretical to their cause. From the Dark Ages to the present, persecution has been the trend among the followers of religions who seem more akin to bankers, child molesters and the criminally insane, than the spiritual guides they profess themselves to be. It strikes one’s mind immediately that without such forces in the world, all would run much smoother and effeciently. Orthodox fundamentalism represents the totality of what can happen when one lashes out and constrains another’s way of life if it is antithetical to their values. We have seen enough, and it is time to move on to better things.

N.A.M. is the first organization to promote Thelema on a full-time basis, to ensure the survival of creative thought, and the ability to function not only as a free-citizen, but an Individual. It is our desire to gain the assistance of those in the Thelemic community and elsewhere to better promulgate our resolve in establishing New Aeon principles as a movement the world over, and ask them to participate in the Great Work, which is for each person to find who they truly are (beyond the frills and fetters of society and its ill-founded morals), how they fit into the Grand Puzzle of Life, and how best to execute their True Will, or, Purpose.

*THE AEON OF ISIS: WHEN MATRIARCHY FIRST EVOLVED AND MOTHER EARTH WAS SEEN AS THE SOLE PROVIDER OF LIFE AND SUSTENANCE. THE AEON OF GODDESS-WORSHIP AND PROSTRATION TO THE FEMALE. THIS PERIOD CAME TO ITS END IN APPROXIMATELY 3000-5000 B.C.E.

*THE AEON OF OSIRIS: WHEN PATRIARCHY FIRST EVOLVED AND THE SUN WAS CONSIDERED THE COMPLIMENT OF THE EARTH. THIS IS THE ERA CONCERNED WITH THE LIMITATIONS OF EXISTENCE. MALE-DOMINATED GOVERNMENTS WERE THUS ESTABLISHED, AND RELIGIONS FIXATED WITH SIN, DEATH, AND THE CONCEPT OF THE DYING GOD. THIS PERIOD CAME TO ITS END IN APRIL, 1904.
